We do do Macs

When speaking to potential clients, they will often ask with a slightly heavy heart – do you do Macs?

Their hesitation is because Apple Mac computers have long been a bit out of line with regular business IT, and as a result there have existed specialist Mac support companies whereas most IT support services were Windows PC only.

There’s still truth to the idea that ‘Macs are different’ but they are a lot less different than they used to be, and now we install and support standard business apps such as Microsoft Office on Macs for many of our clients.

Our experience includes managing a 50 Mac studio that was integrated into the PC network for an advertising company, and so getting PCs and Macs to play nicely has always part of our remit at Control and Shift.
